Fletcher Place Community Center finds hunger a reality in Indianapolis. It is evident in the neighborhood we serve just East of Fountain Square.
The Food pantry provides a 3-day supply of groceries to families in need up to once a month. We work to provide fresh and healthy items: potatoes, carrots, dry beans, rice, old fashion oatmeal, pasta, spaghetti sauce, low-sodium canned veggies and soups, low-sugar canned fruit, tuna, and mac and cheese. We also provide a few household items such as TP, tooth paste, and bar soap. Last year we provided over 39,000 meals to hungry families through the food pantry.
Food Pantry is available to those who live in the Southeast Neighborhood (English to Raymond; Shelby to Sherman) Food Pantry hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
