FLETCHER PLACE COMMUNITY CENTER

Fletcher Place Community Center is a faith based mission agency serving the southeast side of Indianapolis for 134 years. Our start came through Fletcher Place Methodist Episcopal Church in 1872 as their mission committee worked to help the new immigrants in the area. We have always worked to help families and the homeless meet their basic needs and work towards self sufficiency.

Fletcher Place Ministries

In 2001 we expanded from one program site to two. With the opening of the 'ACE' program site (Adult Center for Education) we started using the term "Fletcher Place Ministries" to note that we are more than a community center site now. Now with our new community center building located at 1637 Prospect Street, we are able to once again provide all of our programs at one site. Our new building opened on November 1^st 2004 located right in the midst of our clients neighborhood just East of Fountain Square.
